Creating Accessible Online Training Videos
REALM urgently needs your help. Covid-19 prevented us from hosting our largest fundraiser, the REALM Fall Gala. Proceeds from the Gala were earmarked for a very important project. I am asking you to please help us build an accessible training video library with a tax deductible donation to REALM.
An accessible training video library will be the foundation of online programs that ensure we can help more people, in more locations build personal volunteer support networks. Why video? A 2015 study concluded “use of video improves learning experience” and we want to create the best learning experience possible for people with all abilities. Videos can be used over and over which helps REALM deliver more programs to more people with fewer resources. The cost to professionally produce online accessible training tools is $57,000.
Our fundraising goal is $30,000 and we’ve reached 56% of our goal. We need your help in this most unusual year with a tax-deductible charitable donation to the REALM Video Library Project. You will receive a charitable tax receipt for 100% of your donation and for all donations of $1,000 or more, we will add your name in the supporting credits at the end of each training video!
